Anemones Villas
The agrotouristic lodgings < ANEMONES VILLAGE > are located in the village Ag. Nikolaos of Messinian Mani. Mani is the area with the 800 towers, 1000 Byzantine churches, 98 castles, 118 traditional settlements and 100 caves with that of DIROS being the best known cave in Greece. The lodgings have been built in a 9,000 sq.m. area, on a hill, at an elevation of 50 m, close to the main road from Stoupa to Ag. Nikolaos. They are only 400 m from the sea, 3 km from Stoupa, 1 km from Ag. Nikolaos, 8 km from Kardamili, 40 km from the Vassiliki forest, 45 km from Kalamata and 50 km from the Diros Caves.
The houses are agrotouristic lodgings built with stone from Mani and wood, but also featuring interiors with modern decoration.
They are fully independent, each with a separate entrance, private pool, garden and surrounding space. In the interior, each features a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, solar water heater, fireplace, central heating and air conditioning in every room. They also feature sea view balconies. |

One of the 4 houses features a living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom all in one space, and it can accommodate up to 3 persons. The next two houses are two-story buildings and have 2 bedrooms on the first floor, with two balconies, while on the ground floor there is a living room, a bathroom and a balcony. They can accommodate up to 5 persons each.Finally, the last house is also a two-story building, with a bedroom, a bathroom and a balcony on the first floor. On the ground floor there is a living room, a kitchen and a balcony. This house can accommodate up to 4 persons.The houses are mainly agrotouristic lodgings designed to bring the residents of the cities to the rustic environment of rural life.
All the nearby villages offer the visitors the traditional cuisine of Mani, including warm home made bread baked in a wood-fired oven, the speciality of the delicacy of Mani called "lalagi", the traditional sweets and the famous yoghurt of Mani. The visitors get to know the local folkways and they can enjoy the excellent beaches, Stoupa being the most famous, the taverns, the coffee shops, the sea sports, the bikeway, the gyms and the sports of Mani.
The closest village to the lodgings is Ag. Nikolaos, a picturesque fishing village, with the traditional fishing boats and the sea-side taverns offering fresh fish. The next closest village is Stoupa, a new village with excellent beaches and modern tourist infrastructure, attracting thousands of visitors every year. A bit farther is the coastal village of Kardamili, also with excellent beaches and tourist attractions. The mountain village Milies is only a 25 km trip from the lodgings, at an elevation of 1200 m, and a little higher is the big age-long forest of Vassiliki with the beautiful "black pine" trees.
Finally the airport is only 45 km from the agrotouristic lodgings, close to Kalamata, the capital city of the prefecture of Messinia.
