Another important distinction for Greek tourism was recorded by EOT.<\/strong><\/p>\n

EOT was honored in China with the “Wechat Channels Creator Plan” award<\/strong> from the Chinese social media of the Tencent group, for the use of best practices of the Wechat Channels service as a means of promotional actions.<\/p>\n

The award ceremony took place last week at a special event attended by executives from Tencent, Wechat and PR companies, as well as representatives of 40 National Tourism Organizations.<\/p>\n

As part of the event, EOT China, together with the Tourism Organizations of Germany and Portugal, selected by Wechat as Best Practices NTOs, presented the actions and promotional campaigns carried out through Wechat Channels.<\/p>\n

Wechat is China’s most popular social networking site with over 1.2 billion active users, and Wechat Channels’s new video streaming service was introduced in mid-2020.<\/p>\n

The EOT China Service, in collaboration with popular vloggers, influencers and the Wechat Channels team, systematically utilizes this service as a tool for promoting Greece to the Chinese public. In this context, he “ran” numerous campaigns – without financial burden – throughout 2021, which have already garnered over 8 million views.<\/p>\n
