Kastelorizo: Authentic beauty that will excite you

Kastelorizo

Καστελόριζο, Δωδεκάνησα

Kastelorizo or Megisti, is an eastern, tiny but very beautiful island of the Aegean Sea that belongs to the Dodecanese complex. There, thousands of years of history and many sights are perfectly combined with peaceful and relaxing holidays.

It is a small but very beautiful place with ancient ruins, castles and caves. The tourist facilities are not so organized but the local hospitality is the best that you ever met.

The gracious two-storey neo-classical houses with their brightly painted doors and windows, wooden balconies and tile roofs on the waterfront as well as the majestic domes of the churches testify to the island’s former prosperity.
