Kasos: Rich history and unique traditions

Kasos

Κάσος, Δωδεκάνησα

Kasos stands between Crete and Karpathos. It is the southern island of the Dodecanesian group with ancient history and unique traditions. It is mainly rocky and the few sandy beaches are rich in natural sights. Kasos offers tourist facilities for visitors who want to have relaxing and tranquil holidays.

According to the latest findings, it has been proven that Kasians took part in the Trojan War under the leadership of Kos Island. Trade activities were flourishing because of the gift of the Kasians to be excellent navy men.
